Healthy Bytes is a news blog that is designed for busy college students who want to lead a healthy lifestyle. The weekly posts will focus on nutrition, exercise, and general wellness. This site will equip college students with the information they need to live healthfully even in a busy, stressful college environment. Some of the information will be specific to students at the University of Oklahoma, and some of it will be information for college students in general.

I am sophomore broadcast journalism major at the University of Oklahoma with a passion for healthy living. I know firsthand how busy and stressed out college students can get, as I am involved in four major organizations at my university that take up much of my time and keep me very busy. However, I grew up with health and fitness enthusiast parents who instilled in me how important it is to keep your mind and body healthy. My dad taught in fitness clubs all over New York City for 12 years, and my mom was a Radio City Rockette who had to keep her body fit as well. Now they both work at a health club and I teach fitness and dance classes for them whenever I am back home. With college comes many challenges, and finding a balanced, healthy lifestyle is one of them, but I am here to help. I hope you find my news stories informative and helpful.
